How SINE Math Works

No guesswork, no skipped foundations. Every student starts exactly where their skills are, and advances only when mastery is proven.

01

Take the Placement Test

A diagnostic spanning all 13 spine levels pinpoints your child's exact mastery floor, not grade, not age. We start where the gaps are, so nothing is glossed over and nothing is repeated needlessly.

02

Work Through the Drill Spine

Daily timed drills build true fluency from arithmetic through precalculus. Spaced repetition schedules each week for optimal retention, with untimed physics and engineering sheets woven in after every module.

03

Advance by Merit, Not Calendar

A 95% mastery gate, not a passing grade, unlocks each new level. Progress is earned and permanent. Your child is never pushed forward before the foundation is solid enough to build on.

Sir Isaac Newton Education Center, where, like Newton himself, we transcend academic barriers to incorporate physics and calculus at every appropriate level. Mathematics divorced from the physical world is just notation. We teach both, together, from the very beginning.

Integration Sheets at Every Level

Untimed physics & engineering sheets are introduced after each module's drill mastery, never mixed into fluency drills. Students always understand why the math matters.

Level E

Speed & Measurement

Distance = rate × time; unit conversions; speed calculations.

Level F

Simple Machines

Lever arms, gear ratios, mechanical advantage.

Level G

Scale & Proportion

Area/volume with decimals; scale drawings; proportions.

Level H

Motion & Signed Numbers

Velocity, acceleration concepts; signed-number physics.

Levels I–J

Kinematics & Energy

d = vt + ½at²; KE = ½mv²; PE = mgh; momentum p = mv.

Level K

Vectors & Newton's Laws

Projectile motion; vector component analysis; Newton's laws; force diagrams.

Levels L–M

Calculus-Based Physics

v = dx/dt; a = dv/dt; W = ∫F dx; SHM; RC/LC circuits.

Always

Untimed · Never Drilled

Physics sheets are introduced after drill mastery, never as timed fluency exercises.

Mastery-Gated, Physics-Threaded

Every level of MATH 2060 connects mathematics to the physical world. Students don't advance until they've truly mastered the current level, because that's how Newton thought, and it's how fluency is actually built.

Physics After Every Drill, Never Mixed In

Integration sheets are introduced after each module's drill mastery: untimed, applied, and purposeful. From speed calculations at Level E to RC/LC circuits at Level M.

Three Hard Mastery Gates

85% weekly · 90% per module · 95% per level. Students test out of modules at 95%+ on the pre-test. No grade-level time pressure; only demonstrated mastery unlocks the next level.

🎓

Geometry & Statistics as Creditable Off-Ramps

Neither subject is a prerequisite for calculus. Both require instructional delivery: proof reasoning and statistical judgment can't be fluency-drilled. They route to creditable partner programs for transcript and ESA documentation.

A through M

Pure drill engine: structured fluency drills only.

  • A–D: Arithmetic foundations: counting through division facts.
  • E–H: Multi-digit operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, pre-algebra. Data literacy woven in as untimed sheets.
  • I–J: Equations through polynomials, rationals, exponentials, logarithms.
  • K: Unit circle, six trig functions, identities, vector components. Required for calculus and physics.
  • L–M: Limits, derivatives, integrals, differential equations, culminating in calculus-based physics.

Geometry & Statistics

Neither is a prerequisite for calculus. Both require instructional delivery: proof reasoning and statistical judgment can't be fluency-drilled.

  • Geometry: Proof-based program after Algebra I. Logic, congruence, similarity, coordinate geometry, area/volume. Satisfies state geometry credit and SAT geometry weight.
  • Statistics: AP Statistics-aligned after Algebra II. Descriptive stats, probability, distributions, inference. Satisfies AP Stats / dual-enrollment credit.
  • ESA/Transcript note: Both off-ramps must land in a creditable program; confirm credit recognition before recommending a partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is SINE Math? +
SINE Math is a mastery-based math program that builds genuine arithmetic fluency, weaves physics into every level, and prepares students for calculus-ready thinking, regardless of grade level. Students start exactly where their skills are and advance only when mastery is proven, progressing through Levels A through M from basic addition facts up to derivatives, integrals, and limits.
What makes SINE Math unique? +
No guesswork, no skipped foundations. Every level connects math to physical meaning from basic motion at the arithmetic level through calculus-based physics readiness, and a student can't advance to the next skill until they've truly mastered the one before it. We're named for Sir Isaac Newton because that same patient, foundation-first approach is how he taught it.
What is High School Math? +
High School Math is our standalone, self-paced online course program. Students earn official letter grades, with physics applications built into every unit and content aligned to Florida B.E.S.T. standards. Some families use both programs together: SINE Math for daily mastery practice, High School Math for the transcript credential.
What makes your High School Math program better than other programs? +
It's fully self-paced with no class schedule and no artificial locks between lessons, every unit ties the math to a physics application instead of treating it as an afterthought, and the coursework is aligned to Florida B.E.S.T. standards while still producing an official transcript with letter grades.
Is SINE Math accessible for students who use a screen reader? +
Yes. Drill problems, the answer field, and feedback are all labeled for assistive technology: each problem is announced as it appears, the answer input and submit/sign controls have descriptive labels, and correct/incorrect feedback is announced automatically so a student never needs to rely on color or visuals alone.
What grade levels and topics does SINE Math cover? +
SINE Math takes students from basic addition facts all the way through derivatives, integrals, and limits, advancing one mastered skill at a time across Levels A through M.
How old does my child need to be to start? +
There's no strict minimum age. Placement is based on skill, not grade or birthday. As a rough guide, Levels A–B (counting and single-digit operations) suit ages 5–7, Levels C–D (multiplication and division mastery) suit ages 7–9, and the program continues through Levels K–M (advanced algebra and calculus foundations) for ages 13 and up. Every student is placed at the level that matches their actual skills.
Can I track my child's progress? Are there report cards? +
Yes. Parents get a real-time dashboard with mastery scores and weekly report cards, plus printable, formal progress reports for portfolio reviews and scholarship documentation. Reference tools (like fact tables and formula cards) are also available right inside each drill so help is always one tap away.
What if I have more than one student? +
You're welcome to enroll multiple children, and each can be placed at their own level and progress independently. For High School Math specifically, a student can also take multiple courses at once, and the Full Sequence bundle gives a reduced per-course rate when all five courses are purchased together.
Is this accredited? +
No. Sir Isaac Newton Education Center is a private supplemental education provider and is not an accredited institution. Transcripts reflect coursework completed through our program and are appropriate for homeschool portfolio documentation under Florida Statute § 1002.41. Acceptance by colleges, universities, or scholarship programs is at the institution's discretion. Contact us with specific accreditation questions.
